Velocity 44 Ltd was formed in May 2010 when Paul Allanach bought over the existing business of Stewart Wilson Cycles which at the time was one of Scotlands longest running specialist cycling shops.

Located in 44 Barnton Street, Stirling it is ideally located within 2 minutes walk from the Thistle shopping centre in Stirling, while adding the benefit of parking directly outside of the shop front.

Our team of 5 are confident we can build on the success of the previous business and add a number of key benefits for both our existing and new customers alike. Our team of Cytech 3 trained mechanics run the busy workshop which has a combined repair knowledge of over 40 years’, so rest assured there’s not much we haven’t seen or repaired.

Running at over 150 bikes on display over our two floors and over 300+ in stock at any time we are confident that we have a bike that meets every ones taste and budget. New for Spring 2011 we will be running a hire fleet of bikes both city bikes from Ridgeback along with our demo bikes from Specialized and Genesis.

Another new venture is our guided mountain biking and city tours that we are running in association with Colin Bull from Trailtactics. Our City tours are ideal for anyone visiting the area from out with Stirling. Colin Bull has a great knowledge of what we have on our doorstep locally. If mountain biking is your choice then Colin has a great reputation for his guided runs with 2011 Genesis bikes included in the package. These can both be skills based training or simply to show your some of the awesome routes and trails we have around Stirling. For added piece of mind when booking, Colin is a qualified Scottish Mountain Leader.
